I love the responsibility of picking the top 5 for the shop...It allows me to get away from the administrative duties of the store and really shop it which I don't get to do very often. Our customers come in and tell us every day that Vines is their favorite store in town. What a huge compliment and what a testament to our lovely vendors who work so very hard to bring the best vintage items to Fort Collins. Some of us travel to Kansas, Texas, California, Nebraska and the list goes on to collect and bring the amazing array of items you see at our store. And the BIG news is...we are EXPANDING...Yes again! We love to support entrepreneurs who are helping support their families, creating extra income and helping reduce/reuse/recycle!! Doily Vests....I can't say enough about how much I LOVE these hand made vests. They are so girly and frilly and talk about vintage. Made from authentic hand crocheted doilies...each one is designed and hand sewn right in the shop!!! One of a kind and unique...gotta have one!!!

Vintage dictionary pages with artwork superimposed...sooo cute for your decorating! Buy several and string them up on a vintage clothes line with old clothes pins....super cute from Rusted Knob

This is a one of a kind vintage artist's box. Someone re-furbished it so the hinges would work better but it has a glass and wood top which makes it very cute and versatile to use anywhere. I think it would make a super planter box or if you have a funky chic decor in your home, you could set it in a kitchen and put extra plates, glass pitchers, cookbooks etc. in it or use it in a bathroom for rolled up towels and extra bath & body....Awesome!!!!

Fourth pick is this new wall art. It has a vintage feel and I LOVE the message...How creative most of us are but sometimes we talk ourselves out of it because our ideas seem crazy....other crazy ideas from history...the principle of gravity, airplanes, cars, electricity....join the group of other crazies and dive into surrounding yourself with things that you love....I couldn't be more content than when I am being my unique organic self...

Last but not least....I am obsessed with these re-invigorated and upcycled belt cuffs from Wednesday's Design. They are funky and cool. Most of them are only $10.....what???? For a unique one of a kind piece of jewelry....IN LOVE.

Spring into Vines Vintage for Kate's top 5 PICKS!!!!

This weather....AHHHHHH! LOVE IT!!! Someone pinch me to make sure I'm not dreaming!! We are zooming through March and we already have our dining tent up on our back deck. May be a bit early...you know how those really wet snow storms and hail can be , but we are enjoying it while it lasts.
Spring is definitely showing at Vines Vintage Market as well. Lots of new items coming into the shop every day...Here are my top 5 picks for this week....

This is a vignette that I set up for my daughter's engagement party...soooo cute. My top pick is the cute antique window with their love story photos attached. We are hosting a "Vintage Wedding Affair" on April 14th from 1:00-2:00 in the afternoon.It is a free seminar on how to incorporate vintage items into your wedding and reception. This is a free class and all are invited!!!

Awesome antique Doctor's cabinet with frosted glass from Texas Antique Finds trip. Love this...so unique.

Cast iron twin size headboard...antique....so unusual....one of a kind....how could it not be a top pick.

ANYTHING FROM Cherry Lime Boutique in Loveland!!!! They are a vendor in our shop and these darling little flowers can go anywhere...hair, bag, lapel, belt....so versatile and fun.

Can anyone else say YES!!! to this darling vintage shabby chandelier from Happiness Is????? I absolutely love it. Would be darling above the bridal table at a wedding or gift table at a shower. How about your sunroom or outdoor room? Holds taper candles or tea lights..... SUPER CUTE!!!

Our little shop grows and changes all the time! With 33 vendors and lots of new merchandise finds coming in daily, you never know what is going to walk in the door at Vines Vintage Market & Plum! So recently a super creative gal that works our counter on Fridays...aka...Michelle...suggested that we start a top 5 pick for the week for the cute things that are showing up in the shop!! There are so many adorable things that it is really going to be difficult, but I thought it was such a great idea...here goes!

First pick is this adorable spring tea pot and cups with twig handles. This is such a cute set and

just screams....SPRING!! It is offered by Chantilly Fields shop.

This darling hand crafted necklace from Wednesday's Design is my 2nd top pick! I used

to sing "I see the moon and the moon sees me. God bless the moon & God bless me."

to my children when they were toddlers. It is reminiscent  of a time when I

could hold them in my arms until they fell asleep. Time passes by so quickly.

Third pick of the week is this punchy blue ultra shabby cabinet from Studio J. This is

just the right size for a small area. Super cute and truly a unique find!

Fourth pick of the week is this Beautiful blue lamp with dimensional flowers and doilie lamp shade. These are crocheted doilies that are antique fashioned onto the lamp shade and also made

into hand crafted flowers. One of a kind and such a focal point for a room...Hurry!

Last top 5 pick of the week is this darling yummy soy candle poured into a vintage teacup from

 Silver Tortoise Candle Co. Candles are heavily scented and burn clean. After the candle is gone

you have a darling little tea cup for your collection! Want another candle? Bring it back in and Ericka can pour you another scent or the same one...Great recycling!!!

The great thing about our shop is that it changes all the time! The downside to that is that we

have lots and lots of shoppers so if you don't hurry in...the top 5 will already be gone!
